About Billie
My Story
After raising my family and working in Womens Ministry for many years, I am now following my dream to become a writer.
I enjoy the challenge of writing about real people who lived through real life situations. My research takes many months to uncover their story of faith and determination. I find their story of faith was not silent, only waiting for me to write it. My forever hero, my husband John, is an accomplished artist. Working together as I develop the story line for our books, he masterfully creates the illustrations.
We live near Springfield, Missouri on the farm where John grew up. The 132 year old house we call home was built by Fanny Catts who is memorized in the books of this most interesting series. John and I stop in the evening to watch the beautiful Missouri sunsets and gaze at the dazzling stars we previously didn’t take time to see. And I always take time to dance in the bubbles with our grandchildren! I am blessed!
